You have everything you need, get on with it

“I need {thing}. I’d do this current task/activity so much better and faster if I had {thing}”

The “I need” is almost always a lie. you need food and water, you don’t need a RAM upgrade or new camera, really you just really want something and try justifying it to yourself with some vague reason that the lack of it has a negative effect on whatever you’re currently doing.

It won’t vastly improve what you are currently doing nor bring you happiness, likely you’re using it’s absence as an excuse for procrastination.

Try justifying it in a few weeks time, or at least stop pretending it’s a necessity — you are allowed to treat yourself every once in awhile.

But right now.. you have everything you need, get on with it.
